BUILDING HOMES AND HOPE – WOMEN BUILD 2015
Since Powerline Plus’s inception, we have had the privilege of supporting a variety of charities and organizations over the years. This year, as part of our ongoing effort to give back to our community, we have chosen a cause that provides one of the very basic necessities of life which many of us take for granted.
The ladies of Powerline will be trading in their stilettos for steel toes this September to help build homes and hope with Habitat for Humanity GTA at Women Build 2015. “Powerline’s Women of Steel” consists of 15 women who have a collective goal to raise $10,000, which will go directly towards purchasing building materials for homes. In addition to the funds raised by “Powerline’s Women of Steel”, Powerline Plus Ltd. will match all donations made to our team to a maximum of $10,000.00.
Women Build 2015 aims to build affordable housing in Toronto, York Region, and Brampton. Powerline’s enthusiastic team of ladies will be working on building two multi-unit townhouse complexes and one single detached home.
